TrustVendor + LowerPlane

TrustVendor is a LowerPlane product. The two share a unified data plane, a single authentication layer, and a common tenant model — no connector to install, no API key to manage.

How data flows

A single plane, end to end.

TrustVendor’s collection and scoring pipeline runs as a dedicated module within the LowerPlane platform. Vendor posture scores, assurance levels, open signals, certification status, and subprocessor changes surface directly in LowerPlane’s GRC workflow — no sync, no polling, no latency. Tenant data is scoped to your LowerPlane account and never exposed externally.

In practice

What native means.

  1. 01 Your LowerPlane vendor register is automatically mirrored into TrustVendor monitoring. No import, no re-entry.
  2. 02 Signal routing follows your existing LowerPlane alert configuration — Slack channel mappings, Jira project assignments, and severity thresholds apply immediately.
  3. 03 Evidence requests sent through LowerPlane's vendor management module use TrustVendor's extraction pipeline. Responses are span-cited the same way public documents are.
  4. 04 Posture and assurance scores appear as a native column in the LowerPlane vendor register, updated continuously rather than on a manual refresh.
  5. 05 Audit exports from LowerPlane include TrustVendor evidence artifacts with their SHA-256 hashes — your auditors get a single ZIP, not two separate data exports to reconcile.

Common questions

Answered plainly.

Do I need a separate TrustVendor account if I use LowerPlane?
No. LowerPlane customers access TrustVendor through their existing LowerPlane workspace. Authentication, billing, and data tenancy are unified under your LowerPlane account.
Is TrustVendor data available to all LowerPlane plan tiers?
The public vendor graph is available to all tiers. Signal delivery, evidence viewer, and workspace features map to LowerPlane subscription tier. Contact your LowerPlane account team for details on what is included in your plan.
What signal types flow into LowerPlane from TrustVendor?
All ten TrustVendor signal types are available: breach notification, CVE disclosure, financial change, news sentiment, certificate expiry, compliance change, data incident, acquisition, regulatory action, and service outage. Signal routing into LowerPlane workflows uses the same severity and routing configuration you set in TrustVendor.
Is data from my LowerPlane program shared with the TrustVendor public graph?
No. Tenant-uploaded documents and private evidence — SOC 2 reports shared under NDA, private assessments, internal notes — remain strictly tenant-scoped and are never contributed to the public graph. Only data sourced from publicly accessible pages is part of the public graph.
