Halcyon Robotics builds software for industrial automation customers in regulated industries. Their customers ask vendor risk questions about every API and service Halcyon integrates with. Halcyon wanted to embed vendor risk data directly in their product rather than requiring customers to use a separate tool.
How it deployed
The Vendor Pulse API was integrated in one sprint. Vendor profiles are resolved via the API at onboarding time and displayed inline in the Halcyon platform’s integration marketplace. Posture and assurance scores, certification status, and open signal counts are shown for each integrated vendor.
Results
Vendor risk information is now embedded in the product experience for Halcyon’s customers. Three enterprise deals that had stalled on vendor risk due diligence questions were unblocked. The API integration reduced vendor risk procurement friction from a manual process to a self-service one.
